Summary:
As believers, we are called to run the race of faith, and to run it well. Hebrews 12 encourages us in our race, as we look to testimonies of those who ran before us, and by looking to Christ in order to not grow weary.
1. ON YOUR MARK!  - The witnesses gather. (12:1a)
"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us..."

2. GET SET! - Take off your sin and unbelief. (12:1a)
"Let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us..."

3. GO! - Follow the leader in the Faith Race. (12:1b-2)
"And let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

4. AND DON'T STOP RUNNING! (12:3)
"For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

"Trusting God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, our Triune God to guide us by His mercy and grace in declaring His true, infallible word to the local community and beyond."
